A muscle ticks in Alex's jaw for a moment and then she nods, and she reaches out, hooking one of her fingers with one of his. "Okay," she says, softly. "I get it. I don't like it, and I'm not going to pretend that I do, but...I think I get it." She looks up at him, her eyes ink dark. "Just...be safe, okay? If you've going to be an idiot, at least be as safe as you can."
