"Stern, if what you wanted was burgers on the couch in our sweats, you could have just said," he says as he takes her hand. Again, it's not a complaint. "We could have even kept the sitter."

Alex knows what she's doing suggesting the office, and Darlington's eyes turn towards the hallway at the back of the club. They've only talked about it, let it fuel both of their fantasies, but with the opportunity before them...it's hardly a choice at all.

"Office," he says. "You don't want to wait until we're at the apartment, and I wouldn't believe you if you did."
