"Appearances can be deceiving," he says, watching her strip that extra little bit, her piercings catching the low light of their surroundings. He doesn't hide the way his eyes survey every inch and curve of her; he doesn't even have to pretend he's interested. "But this time, you're right. I try not to tease.
