She hears him swallow behind her, feels the way he shifts, slightly, when she settles into his lap. She leans her weight forward, her hands on his knees to balance her, as he unfastens her bra, as it slips loose. She shimmies it off, dropping it on the floor next to them and lifts her hands up over her head, tousling her fingers into her straight hair.
